    Good choice for tire replacement

My second rear tire just blew apart yesterday. Less than 20k miles and both rear tires have excessive inside wear, then massive failure. After the first failure I had it all aligned perfectly. Anyone else having rear tire issues?

    Good choice for tire replacement

the OEMs are not EV specific. Mine came with Goodyear Eagle Sport all seasons, decent, not fantastic. I've never run Goodyears on a car. I compared them to Michelin, PIrelli - all about the same price within a couple hundred dollars a set. anyone have experience yet? I think I'm going with the P...

    Leasing or purchasing? Best financing?

i got in just (July 2022) before bidenomics hit hard and bought with a tiny interest rate. $1500 in interest over 60 months. I leased three i3 prior. didn't know if it was the car I wanted to buy and knew tech would change and it did, my last i3s was the best of the bunch. the i4 is worth buying...

    Long-term cost savings

I've owned three i3 since 2013 and bought the i4 august 2022 and now have 18,000 miles on it. we save $7500 in US Fed credit and on the first two i3's WA state didn't charge tax or license fees, so another $4000, add $4000 in gas each of the last ten years and hardly any maintenance AND that we...

    Highest mileage recorded

320 miles from Portland Oregon to Pullman WA, not many charging opportunities after Tri Cities WA. We stopped at EA in Hermiston on the way out and back, which is half way. Charged to 95% in 35 minutes. My wife drove three of the four legs and averaged 4.2 miles/kwh at 65mph. I drove the last...

i4 vs i5 vs other EVs?

i5 is merely a larger, heavier i4, thus slower and less range and IMHO far less attractive, very ordinary

i've owned three i3 starting in 2013, bought the i4 m40 August 2022, 18,000 miles now. we save $4,000 annually in gas, plus $7500 US Fed credit and we were going to spend $60k on a new car anyway, so super simple decision. Enjoy it a lot, fun to drive, but not as fun as a manual transmission M3...

i4 vs i5 vs other EVs?

exactly, that review was very inaccurate. it should have compared the i4m40 rather than the m50, better range, more comparable hp to model 3
