Prepping for My BMW i4 eDrive40 Any Tips for a Smooth Start

total newbie here! I’m picking up a 2023 eDrive40 Sport i4 (ex-demo with 7,400 miles) in a couple of weeks. It’s got the comfort and tech packs, but I’ve run into a few questions and could really use some guidance:

Adaptive Cruise: Just found out it’s an extra $900+ – bit of a surprise, thanks to a sales slip-up.
Apple CarPlay: Does it come standard, or do I have to pay an additional $300+?
Dash Cam Feature: Does the i4 come with built-in video recording, or will I need to get an external setup?
For my typical commute – a 40-mile round trip (about 4 hours in total) – I’m planning to leave with an 80% charge. If anyone has experience with that kind of drive, I’d love to know what range I can expect.

Congrats on the i4...Adaptive Cruise is typically extra, but Apple CarPlay usually comes standard; you’ll need an external dash cam, and an 80% charge should be plenty for your 40-mile round trip.

100 miles on 80% is possible. Just make use of battery regeneration in B-direction drive mode.
